Anna’s Story

Anna Tullemans is a consultant and author in Autism Spectrum Disorders and has been working closely with schools, teachers and parents, writing and implementing programs for students with ASD.

She is the author of 13 books on strategies for teachers, parents and students.

Anna holds the following qualifications:

  • Diploma of Education Support
  • Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management
  • University Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • TAE40114 – Training and Assessment in the Workplace

Anna conducts teacher training workshops and regularly presents throughout Australia and a variety of international locations including England, Hong Kong, Emirates, New Zealand, Dubai, Hawaii and Brunei. She presents conferences and seminars on everyday inclusion and behaviour strategies that are successful.

Her experiences from both sides of education organisations have fuelled her passion for sharing and communicating information and strategies on Autism Spectrum Disorder, to teachers and parents throughout all education systems.

Anna works closely with employment agencies and employers to ensure successful outcomes in the workplace. She is also the mother of an adult with Asperger’s Syndrome who was diagnosed at the age of 6 and who is now gainfully employed in the IT industry.

Anna was the founding president of the Asperger Syndrome Support Network (Qld) Inc for seven years and oversaw its growth as a fledgling support group for parents.
